On April 1, the 11th annual Bluebell Campaign, “Let’s Pay Our Respects!”, kicked off. The campaign is dedicated to veterans of the Estonian Defense Forces and the Defense League who have made significant contributions to our country’s freedom. Maru Ehitus is supporting the campaign as an official partner again this year. Our team paid tribute and participated in the Bluebell Run held in Tallinn. It was a great pleasure to run 3.2 kilometers in honor of the veterans!
Proceeds from the sale of bluebell-themed merchandise support several important projects, including the construction of a new rehabilitation complex at Põlva Hospital and the creation of the first disc golf course accessible to people with disabilities, in collaboration with the Estonian Disc Golf Association. Funds are also used to support the purchase of sports and rehabilitation equipment for the Otepää Health Center.
Throughout the month of April, everyone can contribute to the campaign by purchasing and wearing a cornflower pin, as well as by participating in cornflower runs and disc golf series, and other Veterans’ Month events. Let’s wear the cornflower badge with pride!
