Maru Ehitus has established a new engineering scholarship through the Tallinn University of Technology Development Fund, and the company is inviting open-minded and broad-minded students who see construction as their life’s calling to apply.

Margo Dengo, CEO of Maru Ehituse, confirmed in an interview with TalTech that today’s design and construction work requires digital skills and knowledge of software, with design becoming increasingly similar to programming. “In technical fields, you need to be smart enough to look at a structure or technical system and understand how it works. In addition, teamwork skills are a prerequisite, because designers and builders haven’t been able to get anything done on their own for a long time,” Dengo explained, outlining the expectations of the construction sector.
