On Wednesday, May 7, the cornerstone was laid for the Rakvere soccer arena, whose steel structures were designed by Norte and Maru Metall—both companies of the Maru Group—manufactured by Maru Metall, and installed by Maru THM.

The soccer arena with a permanent playing field will be completed by January 2026. The arena measures 74.5 by 113 meters.
The construction of the indoor soccer arena and the support building will cost 5.3 million euros, plus VAT. The construction contract was signed with Revin Group, the winner of the public procurement bid, in the fall of 2024.
The soccer arena will be named the Bauroc Soccer Arena. Under the terms of the agreement, the company will pay 100,000 euros per year for ten years for advertising, which should cover the arena’s operating costs. According to Lääne-Virumaa Uudised, soccer is the most popular sport in Rakvere in terms of the number of participants.
