On February 11, the cornerstone was laid for the expansion of the Pärnamäe Center building. Once the expansion is complete, the center’s total floor area will reach nearly 5,000 square meters. The expansion will provide additional space for both the Rimi grocery store and the food court, which has become the center’s main attraction.
Under the contract signed with Kaveks Holding OÜ, construction work on the expansion began in the fall of 2025, and completion is scheduled for early September of this year. As a result of the project, the center will gain over 2,000 square meters of new space. The completed expansion will establish Pärnamäe Keskus as one of the most important retail and service hubs in eastern Tallinn.
