On Thursday, February 29, a topping-out ceremony was held for the NPM magnet factory in Narva. The building under construction will cover nearly 24,000 m² and will produce magnets needed for electric cars and wind turbines. The construction is partially funded by the European Just Transition Fund, and the plant will be the largest and only one of its kind in Europe!
The plant is scheduled to be completed by the end of this year, with the goal of beginning full-scale operations for the European market at that time.
