Where landmarks rise and records are broken, Maru Concrete Works is on the job!
We are honored that Merko Ehitus Eesti and KMG Infra have selected Maru Betoonitööd to perform the concrete work for the second phase of the 0-cycle at the Rail Baltica Ülemiste Terminal.
Our contract covers concrete work for Cycle 0 structures in the area south of the railroad tracks. In this area, which is nearly one kilometer long, we will construct foundations, retaining walls, ramps, and abutments, stairwells, elevator shafts, utility rooms, pedestrian tunnels, and tunnels with bridge deck slabs spanning them. The scope of work includes approximately 10,000 m³ of monolithic reinforced concrete structures, including structures with exposed surfaces, for which the concrete surface requirements have been coordinated in accordance with the guidelines provided by Zaha Hadid Architects.
Before starting work, we familiarized ourselves with the construction site together with the general contractor’s team, and over the course of several weeks, we were able to thoroughly plan the work processes and prepare the team. A unique project requires special attention and can only be carried out thanks to thorough preparation and close cooperation with the client.
