Maru Defence showcased its mobile solutions and received valuable feedback from end users at the MSPO 2025 trade show, which is the largest defense industry trade show in Central and Eastern Europe and the third largest in Europe. The event took place September 2–5 in Poland.
According to Tanel Rõõm, sales manager at Maru Defence, meetings with industry representatives in Poland reinforced the conviction that mobile solutions—including mobile field hospitals—play a key role in national defense.
This year’s central theme was “Polonization,” or Poland’s influence. Poland has evolved from an importer of defense products into a key player in the market. Poland’s defense budget is expected to reach 4.7% of GDP this year—the highest share among NATO allies—and the country has prioritized domestic production and technology transfer. This was also evidenced by the contracts signed at the trade fair by major Polish defense industry conglomerates, WB Group and PGZ.
Trade shows such as MSPO showcase the latest defense industry solutions to visitors, but they are also venues where strategic cooperation agreements are signed. During the event, the signing of several cooperation agreements and memorandums of understanding was announced, with partners from Poland, Sweden, Taiwan, Finland, South Korea, Ukraine, and the United States, among others.
Attendance at MSPO, which is becoming increasingly influential worldwide, reached a record high this year: 30,000 visitors attended, and 700 exhibitors from 39 countries participated in the fair. The large Estonian delegation included 15 companies and high-level political representatives.
