In a program focusing on wartime medicine, Kristjan Kamdron analyzed what solutions the defense industry needs and how MDSC Systems meets those needs. According to Kamdron, the defense sector makes extensive use of container-based solutions because they provide the mobility required by the armed forces. MDSC Systems, which operates under the Maru Defence and Rolling Unit brands, has developed base solutions into which customer-specific solutions are integrated.
Maru Defense’s largest and best-known product is its full-scale field hospitals, the various applications of which Kamdron also demonstrated during the broadcast. A key feature of these field hospitals is that their modules can be arranged in different configurations. Although there are currently as many as four field hospitals manufactured by MDSC Systems in use in Ukraine, the Ukrainians do not use them as a single, integrated unit, because in that form they would be an easy target for the aggressor.
