Maru Metall joined the public ball box initiative

Maru Metall contributed to the initiative of the Estonian Competence Centre for Physical Activity (CCPA, liigume.ee), which seeks to set up shared ball boxes in public sports parks. The balls kept in those boxes are for anyone to use freely, and putting the boxes where sports enthusiasts can find them is sponsored by public funds and companies.

Maru Metall donated one such box to the public sports park at Ardu. Pictured is Maru Metall CEO Heiti Zukovits on his way to delivering the box to its new home.

Maru supports several athletes and sports events, including the annual Maru series where participants run around Estonian lakes.
More information can be found on our website and the Maru lake series website (both in Estonian).
