To date, the viaduct\u2019s piers and one of the abutments have been completed, and construction work on the second abutment is currently underway. At the same time, we are making preparations for erecting and reinforcing the deck slab formwork.  <\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">As part of the project, we will construct two deck slabs, each approximately 67 meters long; pour a total of approximately 2,800 m\u00b3 of concrete; install about 4,500 m\u00b2 of formwork; and use over 280 metric tons of rebar. The pouring of the deck slabs is scheduled for March. <\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The reconstruction of the Kanama viaduct is part of a major infrastructure project by the Transport Administration, with GRK Eesti AS serving as the general contractor. The goal of the project is to renovate the two-level Kanama interchange on the Tallinn-P\u00e4rnu highway, including on- and off-ramps and collector roads.
