Since our offer generated a lot of interest among job seekers\u2014Ave and Annett spoke with at least 100 job seekers over the course of two hours\u2014we asked Ave to share some tips on how to spark interest among job seekers. <\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><a href=\"https:\/\/mdsc-systems.ee\/\">MDSC Systems<\/a>, a company within the Maru Group that is expanding its production of container solutions, needs a total of more than 20 new assembly workers. You can find the job postings at the end of this article. <\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Five takeaways from the recruitment event by HR Manager Ave Nermann:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Always be accommodating.<\/strong>  This is the most important thing, because even a gruff \u201cHello!\u201d can damage the company\u2019s reputation in the eyes of a job seeker. People have questions, and you\u2019re there to answer them. You must also provide answers to those people who may not be a good fit for your team.  <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Make yourself visible.<\/strong>  You yourself are a billboard, so represent your company visually. Wear your brand&#8217;s T-shirts and put up banners. <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Print extra copies.<\/strong>  If you think that 50 flyers advertising the available positions will be enough, bring another 50 with you\u2014those were exactly what we were missing when our printouts ran out after the first hour. (Forgive us, dear trees! Unfortunately, it\u2019s just the way it is\u2014job seekers need privacy to review the offers. Fortunately, our backup plan\u2014asking people to take photos of the materials\u2014worked out.) <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Answer the questions in a way that doesn&#8217;t dodge them.<\/strong>  Candidates need straightforward answers. The three main questions we heard were about the job location, the job description (and whether it\u2019s suitable for women), and the salary. Be prepared to give honest and specific answers.  <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Showcase your competitive advantages.<\/strong>  Why is the job you\u2019re offering a good one, and do these same factors matter to candidates? In our case, job seekers valued the opportunity to work a single day shift, commute to work by city bus, and work indoors. People were also concerned about whether they would have to lift very heavy loads\u2014and they were relieved to hear that MDSC uses a crane for that kind of work, not people.  <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">MDSC Systems is known in the market under the <a href=\"https:\/\/marudefence.com\/\">Maru Defence<\/a>and <a href=\"https:\/\/rollingunit.com\/\">Rolling Unit<\/a>brands, which manufacture mobile, expandable spaces for global markets.<\/p>\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img decoding=\"async\" width=\"874\" height=\"1241\" src=\"https:\/\/maru.ee\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/07\/Konteinerlahenduste-montaazitooline_flaier_page-0001.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-2044\"\/><\/figure>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"Determined to find new team members, Ave Nermann, HR Manager at MDSC Systems, and Annett P\u00e4rs, Office Assistant, attended a recruitment event organized by the Estonian Unemployment Insurance Fund on September 9.
