This large-scale project was commissioned by the Finnish energy group Helen OY.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The Patola heating plant complex is scheduled to become operational during the next heating season. It is a technologically significant project featuring an industrial-scale heat pump and two 50 MW electric boilers. The air-to-water heat pump plant being constructed is one of the largest in the world \u2013 designed to operate in outdoor temperatures as low as -20\u00b0C, utilizing carbon dioxide (CO2) as a natural refrigerant.<\/p>\n<p>This project further builds upon our extensive experience in manufacturing and installing steel structures for the Finnish energy sector.<\/p>\n<p>The list of Finnish heating plants featuring Maru-produced steel structures is substantial, ranging from Lepp\u00e4virta and Turenki to Turku, Lahti, and Imatra.
