The main organizer of the race is the <strong>Stamina sports club<\/strong>. The partnership with Maru began in 2020, while the Lake Runs will celebrate 25th anniversary next year.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;As the title sponsor, Maru gives the organizers the assurance that lake runners will continue to receive all the services they need,&#8221; said Urmo Raiend, head of the Stamina sports club. &#8220;It also makes me happy that Maru&#8217;s employees actively participate\u00a0 in the races.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>For Maru, continuing as the name sponsor aligns well with our values, being an opportunity to support a popular and well-organised sports event and healthy lifestyle.<\/p>\n<p>The finale of the 2025 Lake Runs series, the \u00dclemiste Lake Run, was held on 9th of August. 533 participants ran in the 13.7-kilometre race, with <strong>Helen Bell<\/strong> and <strong>Leonid Latsepov<\/strong> winning for the third time in a row.<\/p>\n<p>In total, 1,402 runners participated in this year&#8217;s Maru Lake Runs, including 179 young people who covered the youth-focused distances. A total of 140 runners and walkers completed all four lake runs, with the oldest born in 1948 and the youngest in 2010. The winner titles of this year&#8217;s series were taken by <strong>Leonid Latsepov<\/strong> and <strong>Bret Sch\u00e4r<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>Urmo Raiend noted that he was pleased to see so many top runners participate in the race, while it was also great to have a large number of kids enjoying the activities.
